Yes, those are fly pupae. Fly pupae are the stage in a fly's life cycle where they are in a non-feeding, inactive state as they undergo metamorphosis into adult flies. They are often found in decaying organic matter, such as compost or animal waste, as they develop into adult flies. If you have found fly pupae, it is important to properly dispose of them to prevent the emergence of adult flies. **

Moth egg pupae can be recognized by their small size and oval shape. They are usually found in clusters, often attached to surfaces such as leaves or branches. The color of the pupae can vary depending on the species, but they are typically white or light brown. Additionally, they may have a slightly shiny or translucent appearance. If you find clusters of small, oval-shaped objects attached to surfaces in your garden or home, they may be moth egg pupae. **

There are cocoon pupae in the cocoon, not dead beetles. Cocoon pupae are the stage in the life cycle of certain insects where they transform from larvae into adults. Dead beetles would not be found inside a cocoon, as they do not go through the pupal stage. **

To kill housefly pupae with insect spray, you can use a residual insecticide spray that is labeled for use against flies. First, locate the areas where the pupae are present, such as in cracks and crevices or near garbage and food sources. Then, apply the insecticide spray directly to these areas, making sure to follow the instructions on the product label. The residual spray will help to kill the pupae as they emerge and come into contact with the treated surfaces. Additionally, it's important to practice good sanitation and eliminate potential breeding sites to prevent future infestations. **

The beetle pupae in your child's raised bed are likely the pupal stage of a beetle, which is the stage of development between the larval and adult stages. Beetles are a diverse group of insects, so the specific type of beetle pupae can vary. Some common beetles that may be found in raised beds include Japanese beetles, June beetles, or Colorado potato beetles. It's important to identify the specific type of beetle pupae to determine if they are beneficial or harmful to the plants in the raised bed. If you are concerned about the presence of the beetle pupae, you may want to consult with a local entomologist or pest control expert for guidance on how to manage them. **
