The choice between grappling in a gi or no-gi ultimately comes down to personal preference and goals. Grappling in a gi allows for a wider variety of techniques and grips, as well as a focus on using the gi for control and submissions. On the other hand, no-gi grappling emphasizes speed, agility, and a different set of techniques that don't rely on the gi for grips. Some practitioners enjoy both and train in both styles to develop a well-rounded skill set, while others may prefer one over the other based on their individual strengths and preferences. Ultimately, both gi and no-gi grappling have their own unique benefits and can be valuable for different aspects of a practitioner's game. **

If you are feeling overwhelmed or struggling with your mental health, it is important to seek support from a mental health professional who can provide guidance and help you navigate your emotions in a healthy way. Remember, it is okay to not be okay, and seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. **

While both judo and karate gis are similar in appearance, they are designed slightly differently to accommodate the specific needs of each martial art. Judo gis are typically heavier and more durable to withstand the grappling and throwing techniques of judo, while karate gis are lighter and allow for greater freedom of movement for striking techniques. While it is possible to use a judo gi for karate practice, it may not be as comfortable or allow for the same range of motion as a traditional karate gi. **
